Privacy Policy
PayNexa Connect (connect.paynexaindia.com and the PayNexa Connect Android app) is a free network where people in India share what they know about work, skills and business. It is run by PAYNEXA INFOTECH PRIVATE LIMITED, Nashik, Maharashtra ("PayNexa", "we"). This policy explains what we collect, why, who can see it, and your choices. It follows India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. We are the Data Fiduciary for this data.
1. What we collect

We do not ask for Aadhaar, PAN, bank or card details on PayNexa Connect, and we do not use your device location. PayNexa Connect is free — there are no payments and no ads.
2. Why we use it
- To create your account and sign you in.
- To show your profile and posts to other members, and theirs to you.
- To let you connect, follow and chat with people.
- To send you notifications about likes, comments, follows, requests and messages.
- To keep the community safe: reviewing reports, removing harmful content and stopping spam and fraud.
- To meet legal duties.
3. Who can see what
- Your profile and posts can be seen by every signed-in member of PayNexa Connect.
- Your mobile number and email are never shown on your profile.
- Messages are seen only by you and the person you are chatting with. PayNexa staff look at a conversation only when it is reported, or when the law requires it.
- Reports are seen only by the PayNexa team. The person you report is not told who reported them.
- Service providers: we run on Google Firebase (Google Cloud, Mumbai region) for the database, file storage and OTP. They process data only on our instructions.
- Authorities, only where Indian law requires it.
We do not sell your data and we do not share it with advertisers.
PayNexa Connect and PayNexa Jobs (hiring.paynexaindia.com) use the same PayNexa ID. If you also use PayNexa Jobs, the PayNexa Jobs Privacy Policy covers the data you give there.
4. How long we keep it
- Your profile and posts stay until you delete them or delete your account.
- When you delete your account, we delete your profile, posts, photos, videos, comments, connections, follows, chats and notifications.
- Reports about harmful content may be kept for up to 12 months to handle repeat abuse and legal requests.
5. Your rights and choices
- See and correct your data — edit your profile any time.
- Delete a post or comment any time, or your whole account: Settings → Delete my account. See how to delete your account.
- Block anyone from their profile (⋯ menu). Blocked people can't message you, comment on your posts, follow you or send requests.
- Withdraw consent by deleting your account or writing to the Grievance Officer.
- Nominate someone to exercise these rights for you if you cannot.
- Complain to our Grievance Officer, and if not satisfied, to the Data Protection Board of India.
6. Security
Data is encrypted in transit and stored on Google Cloud. Database rules stop one member from reading another's private data (like messages). No system is perfect; if a breach affects you, we will tell you and the Data Protection Board as the law requires.
7. Children
PayNexa Connect is for people aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you think a child has an account, tell us and we will remove it.
8. Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top, and tell you in the app for important changes.
